7 days 6 hrs

Ok, so I failed.
I did not post every single day, a work in progress I guess.
Last week I booked all overnight jobs, all were 12 hrs long and sleeping during the day did not come easy! One more week of work. I can't believe it, In one week I will be officially jobless...
and homeless...
and carless...
and free.

1 would like to announce that my gear is 100% set! In the last week I bought my 2nd Anker battery, I left my last one in a dingy abandoned warehouse in downtown Los Angeles. It was our set for the day and I plugged my battery in... and then forgot about it. So painful to spend money on an item twice! Luckily I got it pretty cheep, which lessened the pain.  I also decided to buy a smaller lighter cook pot.  I never really loved the soloist, so replacing it came easy.

Another issue that has been on my mind lately in my Camera.  I own a nice Nikon DSLR, but there is no way I want to carry it! I have thought about it though, seriously, but the 3 lbs it would add to my pack is a deal breaker. I had just decided on using my camera on my phone. I even upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S5 so I would have a decent camera. Unfortunately just like my old Samsung I noticed a pinkish glow in the center of some pictures. I decided that I didn't want to finish this adventure and look back and regret the quality of my pictures.  So off to Best Buy I went and picked up a cheap, light point and shoot camera. It's no DSLR w/ fancy lenses but I think I'll be happy with it.
